Santa Cruz county has updated its rules for development around the Watsonville airport, properly aligning it more closely with the California Airport Land Use Planning Handbook. The CalTrans Division of Aeronautics publishes the handbook, which establishes statewide guidelines for compatible planning based on the State Aeronautics Act.
