Would you like to learn to fly airplanes or train to become an airplane mechanic? If you are interested in pursuing an aviation related career or want to further your aviation education, we encourage you to apply for a scholarship.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
16 to 25 years old
Resident of Santa Cruz County, Aromas, or Moss Landing
Legal resident or citizen of the United States
Proficient in English (required by the Federal Aviation Administration)
The Pajaro Valley Aviation Academy offers two $4,000 scholarships, one in the spring and one in the fall, to enthusiastic local youth. Applications will be reviewed using an objective process which includes evaluating the applicant’s transcripts, interests, activities, aspirations and financial need.
Application deadlines are March 31 and September 30.
