You just need a raspberry pi and a usb ads-b receiver. I had an old Stratux ads-b receiver that I build but was no longer using so I converted it and it works great. It picks up about 700 aircraft/day. The Business Plan that you get in return allows you access flight data up to 2 years in the past and download data.
