I had to share this with everyone and maybe it will spark some reminiscent discussion. Someone created an emulation of Microsoft Flight Simulator from the 1981 release to the 1989 release. It brought back so many memories as my love for aviation started when I was 12 years old, loading the 1981 version on my Commodore 64, learning how to buzz skyscrapers, use the radios, and navigate from VOR to VOR. I frequently use FlightRadar24 to review and download my past flights ( https://www.flightradar24.com/ ). I just discovered that you can share ads-b data with them and in return they'll give you a business level account! Check it out... https://www.flightradar24.com/add-coverage You just need a raspberry pi and a usb ads-b receiver. I had an old Stratux ads-b receiver that I build but was no longer using so I converted it and it works great. It picks up about 700 aircraft/day. The Business Plan that you get in return allows you access flight data up to 2 years in the past and download data.

Hey everyone. I was just curious about this and thought it would be an interesting point of discussion. At an uncontrolled airport (such as KWVI), do you regularly call out your location when taxiing? I've heard valid reasons for and against.
