Word of warning to hangar tenants—birds are nesting in hangar doors. I found out the hard way last week after opening my hangar doors and finding a nestling scooting on the ground seeking cover in the hangar. It probably fell out of its nest located at the upper corner of one of the doors. I transported the little guy to Native Wildlife Rescue in Live Oak. I’m now very careful opening and closing the doors while the nest remains in place.
