About the webinar:
Considering all the factors that must be managed in establishing a descent angle to position the aircraft for a perfect landing involves many variables. The 'pitch and power' debate continues where adjusting one affects the other. Michael will add some personal techniques that work for him and General Aviation accidents where stabilized approaches played a role in the outcome.Â
This webinar is given from a professional pilots perspective how to fly a stabilized approach in visual conditions and on a non-precision approach.Â
The speaker Michael Baker began flying since February 1996, at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where he graduated with a degree in Aeronautical Science minoring in Aviation Safety. Since then he has flown over 9,500 hours, of which over 1,300 hours were giving instruction. Michael has an ATP Certificate, with Commercial Privileges ASEL, and a Tailwheel Endorsement. He maintains a CFII and a MEI. He has four type ratings and has flown 24 different makes of aircraft. He flies professionally for a private company.Â
