A special Watsonville Airport Advisory Committee meeting has been called on November 19th, 2019 at 1900 hrs.

At the October 30th WAAC meeting the Municipal Airport was tasked to further research and investigate objections to a proposed land exchange (swap) consisting of approximately three acres of private land, where a portion of that land intersects Runway Protection Zone Five of Runway 2-20, to be exchanged for commensurate acreage of airport owned land south of approach end of Runway 09.

We are encouraging our members to attend this meeting to put forward a strong pilot representation. It will be important to fully understand the proposal, listen to arguments for and against, and support our WPA representative on the WAAC.
